I lost my myself in the text and the sound,
I lost myself in the world around...
I fought for a while to keep me alive;
to help myself,to grow and strive...
I saved myself for a while from the wind
that blows away the love from within...
I hate to loose the smile so benign
far away from the worldly shine...
I had for a while the prettiest eyes,
the look of content devoid of vice...
The joyous chuckle, the laughter,the play;
now so distant,so far away...
In a haste to grow on a worldly whim,
I left behind the child within...
